The beginning of Blogging- Globalization is dead

Firstly i looked briefly at part of an article by Rebecca Blood, from Rebecca’s Pocket. Rebecca looks back into 1998, when blogging began, and how the phenomenom took off, the first blogs collated on a list system. This system was basically people emailing through requesting to be added to a blog list. The list was then passed on and published on a website called Camworld, created by Cameron Barrett.

This original list is now a site of historical interest, as the world of blogging has expanded to global proportions, we can look back at how something so small can grow into something so huge, through human interest and participation. We are the machine within the machine.

View this list, created by Jesse James Garret, editor of Infosift, here.

This essay delves physically into what blogging has become over the last decade- A world wide insurgence of journal writing- a new media- a move beyond globalisation into cyberizastion ( the ideological type- NOT the robotic type!!! :) .
