Hi and welcome to my blog!

I am a first year student, stydying a Bachelor of Communications /Professional Communications @ RMIT University, in Melbourne Australia.

This blog is an academic journal that i am keeping as an assesment task for my Networked Media Course.

Within my blog I am looking at the ways in which blogs are densly interlinked, and literally taking the journey- letting the blog build up from nothing, and then seeing what it becomes within the timeframe of the essay. Aside from my regular (when my internet is not down!) postings, i will be exploring different aspects of blogging on individual pages located within my blog.

The idea of demonstrating how a blog can connect, grow and develop is directly focused on a paragraph by Torill Mortensen and Jill Walker, from ‘Blogging thoughts: Personal Publication as an online writing tool‘ (Oslo, 2002), p 259. You can read this paragraph on the page titled roots and tendrils.
